"In parallel, together with the State Border Guard Service, we are working to increase the border capacity for buses, which will provide more opportunities for carriers to choose the time of border crossing," said Oleksandr Kubrakov, Deputy Prime Minister for Recovery and Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure.

Recall

In August last year, the eChezha service was scaled up to buses. Currently, it is in testing mode at key bus checkpoints. At the first stage, the main goal of the service is to create an up-to-date network of regular routes and  analyze the load on the border.

Based on the data obtained at the second stage of the service implementation, each bus (regular and irregular) can choose the time of border crossing.

Starting February 12, the electronic bus queuing service will be extended to all 29 checkpoints on Ukraine's borders with the EU and Moldova.
