At the Podilskyi bridge crossing in Kyiv, work continues on the construction of shallow subway tunnels on the stretch between Zatoka Desenka and Raiduzhna stations on the territory of Rusanivsky Gardens. This was reported by the KCSA press service, according to UNN.

It is noted that temporary embankments for the construction of a tunnel under the railroad have already been arranged, and the installation of reinforced concrete piles for the tunnel is underway.
This is one of the city's most important infrastructure facilities, where active work is currently underway. The road section from Petra Vershyhora Street to the tram's turning ring (towards Honore de Balzac Street) is currently under construction. The following works are currently underway: correcting the profile of the tram tracks, paving the inter-track space with reinforced concrete slabs, installing pavement structures along the tram tracks and building retaining walls. The next stage will be the removal of the railroad's utilities, dismantling of the tracks and railroad platform, and installation of tunnel piles within the earth embankment,
He also noted that the connection of Podilskyi Bridge Crossing with Honore de Balzac Street and the launch of private transport along this section of the road will reduce the load on the Northern Bridge and traffic to Troyeshchyna.

Last year, the Kyiv City Council's website registered a draft decision "On Approval of the City Target Program for the Development of Transport Infrastructure in Kyiv for 2024-2025", which stipulates that the total budget of the program will amount to UAH 34 billion 783 million 627 thousand.
