A Dutch auction house will put Viktor Medvedchuk's superyacht, which was arrested in Croatia, up for sale at a starting price of at least 130 million euros.

The Dutch auction house Troostwijk Auctions won the ARMA tender and will be able to sell Viktor Medvedchuk's yacht, receiving a 10% commission for the sale. This was announced by the head of the ARMA Olena Duma during a telethon, a correspondent of UNN reports.

According to Olena Duma, two bidders competed with each other because one of the three bidders, Asset Reality Limited (USA), was not allowed to participate in the competition due to the lack of certain documents.

The Dutch company Troostwijk Auctions won the competition with 164 points.

"This is the first Ukrainian sale of seized property abroad, and the proceeds will be used to support Ukraine's defense capabilities," says the head of the ARMA.

She also added that ARMA will not choose the buyer and the new owner, but will make sure that they are not Medvedchuk's front men or representatives of Russia and Belarus.

"For us, the main criterion for the sale of this yacht is that the Russian Federation, Belarus or Medvedchuk's representatives are not involved. And we have all the documents confirming that none of the three companies have anything to do with it," Duma added.

She said that the yacht is currently in Croatia. Its insured value is 130 million euros and, accordingly, it cannot be sold below this price. The Dutch company will receive a 10% commission from the sale of the yacht.

The ARMA also decided to put up for sale a Maybach car and 20 collectible wristwatches by Viktor Medvedchuk.
