Russia is using mobile platforms and drones for reconnaissance and missile strikes from Crimea to compensate for the absence of missile carriers at sea after Ukraine successfully destroyed Russian strategic bombers.

In order to compensate for the lack of missile carriers at sea, the Russians use mobile platforms, intelligence and a whole "zoo of drones". This was reported by the spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, Dmytro Pletenchuk, during a briefing, according to a correspondent of UNN.

"They compensate for the absence of cruise missile carriers in the sea by having mobile platforms directly in Crimea. To do this, they conduct reconnaissance. Today, as experts say, you can see a whole zoo of drones in the sky. These are Zala, SuperCam, Orlan-10, Mohajer, Forpost and others. Airplanes are also constantly present - MiGs, Tushki, ANs, Be-12s, which the Russians have long wanted to write off," he said.

According to Pletenchuk, the enemy is using aerial reconnaissance to find targets for shelling from Crimea.

After the successful destruction of the Russian Tu-22M3 long-range bomber by Ukraine, Russia has significantly reduced its strategic aviation activity in the Black Sea region.
