Russians intensified their offensive in the Liman sector. During the current day, they attacked Ukrainian positions in this area of the front 18 times. This is stated in the evening report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, UNN reports.
In the Liman sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 18 attacks in the areas of Serebryany, Nevske in Luhansk region; Terny and Torske in Donetsk region.

A total of 84 combat engagements took place along the entire contact line on Wednesday.
In the Kupyansk sector, our soldiers repelled one Russian attack near Berestove in Kharkiv region.
In the Bakhmut sector, Ukrainian defenders withstood 13 Russian assaults near Bilohorivka in Luhansk region, as well as near Vyymka, Ivanivske and Klishchiyivka in Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka sector, our defenders repelled the enemy 15 times. The invaders, supported by aviation, tried to force our units out of their positions near Ocheretyne, Novokalynove, Berdychiv and Netaylove in Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka and Urozhayne in the Donetsk region. The enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops 16 times.
In the Orikhivskyi sector, Russians attacked the positions of our defenders near Staromayorske under the cover of air cover.
In the Kherson sector, the enemy does not abandon its intention to push our units out of the footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro. The invaders made one unsuccessful attack on the positions of our troops near Krynky.

The Russian army launched 13 missile and 51 air strikes, as well as 16 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems, both at the positions of our troops and at civilian settlements.
At the same time, the Defense Forces aviation conducted 11 strikes on Russian positions. Ukrainian air defense destroyed one X-59 guided missile and three enemy reconnaissance UAVs in the sky. In addition, soldiers from missile and artillery units struck another position of the Russian army.
