56 combat engagements took place in the Ukrainian frontline over the last day. Ukrainian troops repelled most of the Russian invaders' attacks in the Novopavlivka sector. The enemy attacked there with the support of aviation 21 times. This is stated in the evening report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, UNN reports.
Within the last day, 56 combat engagements were registered. In total, the enemy launched 5 missile and 55 air strikes, fired 60 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities.

The situation remains the most difficult in the Novopavlivka sector. There, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, Vodiane and Urozhayne. On Monday alone, the Russians tried to break through the defense of our troops in this area 21 times, each time using air support. In particular, the enemy launched air strikes in the vicinity of Paraskoviivka, Kostiantynivka and Velyka Novosilka.
In the Kupyansk sector, Russians made three unsuccessful assaults on Ukrainian positions near Synkivka, Kharkiv region.
In the Liman sector, our troops repelled four enemy attacks near Terny, Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut sector, our troops repelled seven enemy attacks in the areas of Ivanivske, Klishchiyivka and Andriivka in Donetsk region. The enemy launched an air strike near Razdolivka, Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka sector, our defenders repelled the enemy 7 times. The Russians were advancing near Berdychiv, Orlivka, Tonenke and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
In the Orikhiv sector, with the support of aviation, the Russian army attacked the positions of our defenders 7 times. According to the General Staff, the enemy tried in vain to improve its tactical position near Staromayorske in Donetsk region and Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia.
In the Kherson sector, the enemy attacked our troops' positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River three times over the last day. Our defenders are firmly holding their positions and are not giving in to the enemy.

According to the General Staff, on Monday, the aviation of the Defense Forces carried out nine strikes on Russian positions. Soldiers from missile and artillery units hit one enemy air defense system.
