Due to significant damage to energy facilities and a drop in temperatures, restrictions were imposed on industry to meet consumer needs using electricity generated domestically, imports, and emergency aid from neighboring countries.

Due to the significant damage to power facilities and the drop in temperature, restrictions were imposed on industry. Today, there are already restrictions in Kharkiv region and in Kryvyi Rih. Emergency aid from neighboring countries is already being used to cover the needs of consumers, in addition to imports and domestic generation. The fall of the wreckage of an enemy drone in Ivano-Frankivsk region damaged a power line, but the power has been restored. This was reported on Friday by the Ministry of Energy, UNN writes.

Details

"Due to network constraints on the transmission system operator's lines, outage schedules were applied in Kharkiv region and in Kryvyi Rih, and the restrictions are still in effect today. Also, due to significant damage to power facilities and a drop in temperature last night (from 18 to 22 hours), restrictions were applied to industrial consumers in all regions except Kherson," the Ministry of Energy said.

As noted, "emergency assistance was provided from Romania, Poland and Slovakia." The amount of electricity involved, according to the agency, amounted to about 3% of the daily electricity consumption.

As of this morning, emergency assistance from the transmission system operators of these countries is also being mobilized

- the Ministry of Energy reported.

Outages due to shelling and other reasons

The shelling damaged an overhead line in Chernihiv region and simultaneously cut off power to 600 consumers, the ministry said.

In Ivano-Frankivsk region, an overhead power line was reportedly damaged by the fall of enemy drone fragments, and household consumers were cut off from electricity. The line was put back into operation within an hour, and consumers were supplied with power, the Ministry of Energy said.

Due to technical reasons, the interstate overhead line of NPC Ukrenergo in Zakarpattia region was reportedly briefly disconnected. The line is reportedly in operation.

As a result of technological disruptions, equipment at a substation in Khmelnytsky region was reportedly disconnected, cutting off power to about 16,000 household consumers. All consumers, according to the agency, have been reconnected.

Situation at ZNPP

"There is enough water in the cooling pond to meet the needs of the plant," the Ministry of Energy said.

Import and export

For the current day, electricity imports are forecast at 10,900 MWh. No exports are expected.
