Over the last day, April 26, 79 combat engagements were registered in the frontline. The enemy conducted most of the attacks at the Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Lyman directions. This is stated in the evening report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reports UNN.

In total, the enemy launched 1 missile and 67 air strikes, fired 54 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas
The situation in the Volyn and Polissya sectors remained unchanged. No signs of formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
On the Siversky and Slobozhansky directions , the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shells settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine.
It carried out air strikes on the city of Sumy and in the areas of Volfyno in Sumy region; Dergachi, Vysoka Yaruga, Liptsi, Ogirtseve and Vodyane in Kharkiv region. More than 20 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Khrinivka, Yeline, Huta-Studenetska, Lubyane and Buchky in Chernihiv region; Progress, Starykove, Bilopillia and Bilovody in Sumy region.
In the Kupyansk sector, our troops repelled 7 attacks near Kyslivka and Berestove in Kharkiv region; Stelmakhivka in Luhansk region. The enemy launched air strikes near Pishchane and Hlushkivka in Kharkiv region.
About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Sinkivka, Petropavlivka, and Stepova Novoselivka in Kharkiv region.
In the Liman sector Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 9 attacks in the area of Serebryanske forestry in Luhansk region; Terny and south of Zarichne in Donetsk region.
Artillery and mortar shelling affected more than 10 localities, including Makiivka in Luhansk region; Terny, Yampolivka, Torske in Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut sector, our troops repelled eight attacks in the vicinity of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region; Vyymka, Spirne and Ivanivske, Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to improve their tactical position.
The enemy also conducted air strikes near Chasiv Yar in Donetsk region. Over 10 localities came under artillery and mortar fire, including Hryhorivka, Kalynivka, and Klishchiyivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka sector, our defenders repelled 23 attacks in the areas of Arkhangelske, Keramik, Ocheretyno, Semenivka, Umanske and Kalynove in Donetsk region, where the enemy, supported by aviation, tried to push our units out of their positions.
The enemy also conducted air strikes near Novobakhmutivka and Memryk in Donetsk region. More than 10 localities came under artillery and mortar fire, including Keramik, Arkhangelske and Solovyove in Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Prechystivka and Urozhayne in Donetsk region, where the enemy, supported by air, tried to break through the defense of our troops 12 times.
The enemy conducted air strikes near the settlements of Paraskoviivka and Kostiantynivka in Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, and Vuhledar in the Donetsk region.
In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy, with the support of aviation, attacked the positions of our defenders 3 times near Staromayorske, Donetsk region, and Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.
About 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Chervone, Bilohirya, and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson sector, the enemy does not abandon its intention to force our units out of their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Thus, during the day, with the support of aviation, he made 3 unsuccessful attacks on the positions of our troops near the village of Krynky, Kherson region.
He carried out an air strike near Tomaryne, Kherson region. About 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Tyahynka, Ivanivka, Novotyahynka, Bilozerka, Veletynske, Kizomys, Tokarivka in Kherson region.
Over the course of the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck 11 areas of concentration of enemy personnel. Missile troops destroyed 2 areas of concentration of personnel, 1 radar station, 3 air defense facilities, 1 electronic warfare station, 1 enemy logistics center
