- Mr. Yuri, tell us please about the willingness and ambition of Lviv in the "Olympic hope-2022.

- I begin like this: when in Lviv was executive director of the International Olympic Committee Fell Gilbert , who as personal friend and someone who has vast experience in organizing and holding the Olympic Games, among other things, he said, defining words. He asked: "Do you want to build sports facilities in order to hold the Olympic Games or sports facilities you need?".

So, he says: "I would advise you build what you need. And if you have what you need, you can see what can hold: World Cup, Europe, the Olympics ... You will be able to claim - are interested in and spend. If you'll just have to hold the Olympics, I do not understand you, because these sports facilities will do after the Games? ".

So in this context, I want something to add and clarify: I am convinced that the Olympic Games in 2022 may take place in Ukraine. This is a prerequisite and the key: desire. It is necessary to correctly use these prerequisites, by directing vector of its efforts in the right direction. And when we say, and in a short time should be adopted program-building sports, tourist and other infrastructure in the framework of the Olympic hope-2022 ", we very strongly suggested there (and at first did not perceive us and threw our offer, but Consequently, if it agreed to and I hope that it will stay there): we proposed to define the fulcrum of the Olympic Games city of Lviv, where all the ice sports to educational and sports facilities "Tysovets, where you can ski to the program and only need include Transcarpathia mountain Gimba where to "downhill" and "supergiant" as other places in Ukraine for holding them there.

It is near the Tisovec compact and can hold the Olympics, as for sports facilities, then the words of Gilbert Fell "What then is to sports facilities?", We have proposed to build not only the objects you need to own an Olympic Games and proposed, and repeat again: I hope that it will remain in the program, to build not only two jumps, 100 and one 120-meters jump in Tysovets, but also build ten, twenty and 40-meters ski jumping skis in Lviv.

Not just to hold in Tysovets competitions in biathlon and ski races, and build on the training track Pohulyantsi in Lviv. We threw it, but the result looks like that agreed.

I want to see and only the final picture of whether our listings. Why? Jump on the trampolines is possible only when there is an opportunity to learn to jump on trampolines. To learn, one that many children have access to training needs for training jumps 10 -, 20 - and 40-meters. To ride in Tysovets and compete, it is necessary that a great mass of children had the opportunity to engage in such sports somewhere closer - not every day a child to ride in the Carpathians and the train there. It is necessary that the conditions have been created near the residence, where many people live. But most live in Lviv, so it is necessary that conditions were created here. The more that is really where to create them.

There Pogulyanka is Bryuhovichi. We proposed to build a sleigh-track bobsley in Vynnyky near Lviv on a chat in the rocks, a great place, not worse than the Carpathians. And if you build such a sledge-bobsley trail in the Carpathian Mountains, it will be only for the competition. If you build it here in Ukraine, even for some national teams, if it were in the city of Lviv and Vynnyky - Lions practicable, it will have unlimited access and opportunity to the maximum number of children and people could afford to study this sports, that there can be cultivated.

So you have to think together on development of the whole sports infrastructure. And I want to say about one subject: it Turka district, sports and rehabilitation center Invasport with. Superior. There's unique natural conditions, long snow and has built much of that base, which already today looks to the best of Swiss and Austrian resorts for: very good modern conditions created not only for athletes with disabilities.

There you will conduct training camps of various national teams from different winter sports. Also in Turka district planned to build more such "tube, about 1 km length of 200 meters, which will be in the middle of the summer practicing running on skis. There are several facilities in Europe and one of them will be in. I know that there are intentions to do so and in Tysovets, that too would be correct.

But only Tysovets all planned, and in Turka area everything is constructed buildings, prefabricated Paralympic competitions are held, prepared, trained, and then travel to World Cups. In this respect I see that if you want you can realize this idea.

- As soon began talking about "hope for Olympic-2022, many spoke about tanks. What happens in this area, it will be a joint project of two regions?

- I speak as an expert who knows what would happen had the Olympics and what requirements are to ensure that they took place and when we can pretenduvyou at the Olympic Games? One of the requirements - a compact Olympics. We can only claim the right of when to offer better conditions than others, i.e. the Olympic Village should be no more than 2. The distance between these towns should be in the order of a half-hour ride. Objects that are located where the village and venue of the competitions, the difference in height should be no more than 200 meters. They should be about one to one.

If we speak of Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk region, then nothing to talk about the Olympics. I am not against Ivano-Frankivsk, I for the fact that in Ukraine the whole sports infrastructure developed, but when talking about Frankivsk Bukovel, he is already well developed (base - Ed.) But it is a tourist camp, but for the Olympic Games from skiing there does not meet any mountain. It is not possible to hold the Olympic Games.

If you take in Ivano-Frankivsk ice sports, then where to hold ski species? Still need to "Tysovets. Again the need to involve Gimba Transcarpathia, because only this one has the ability to mount Gimba for two disciplines - downhill and supergiant. Due to objective reasons, the program Olympics can be held on the territory of Lviv and pieces of Transcarpathian regions. Such circumstances.

If you stretch a little program and hit Ivano-Frankivsk region, giving them something, then you may consider this option, but it's just much harder for the fight to host the Olympic Games. Other offer better conditions and more compact it is convenient for organizers, as if to speak pragmatically, then, in my opinion, no more options.

- Ukraine to apply for a student-2022 in 2014. Is it true that the requirements for application, until now, has to be built 50% completion of infrastructure?

It is so declared by the state leadership intentions: 50% will be built. I cannot criticize these intentions, because they are very positive. I very much hope that these 50% of sports facilities were built and for this, above all, we need money. If such a financial opportunity, it could all can be done, as the technology permitted.

You can see that even with the Euro 2012 was an extremely serious problem and even said that the stadium cannot be done, but done. Charts were even lost in God knows how long, but caught up. It is now a question of money.

- Maybe the question is to you, but is in Ukraine, who can build such an infrastructure, whether it is purely foreigners will build?

- I'm really not an expert in these matters, but looking like one of the companies building and airport, and Stadium - successfully builds, caught up schedule, so that the specialists are. Probably not seek someone and somewhere.

My opinion on that occasion there is this: if our, Ukrainian, built stadium in Portugal for the European Championships in other countries have successfully engaged in various issues of infrastructure construction, then at home, too, can build.

Organize people and target is not a problem. Involve in development can foreign firms, although modern technology and information exchange can bring you to any project. In our country our people have opportunities to implement such projects.
