Switzerland refused to ban euthanasia

As a result of the referendum, held in Zurich, the vast majority of city residents did not support proposals to ban euthanasia, and the restriction on its only inhabitants of this Swiss city, reports BBC.

Annually to Zurich many foreigners come to end their lives because their countries euthanasia is banned.

Organization "Dignitas", which is based in Zurich, has helped thousands of foreign nationals to take advantage of Swiss law that allows terminally ill to resort to euthanasia.
