Deputy Solskyi Markiyan Dmytrasevych went abroad and did not return - prosecutor

Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy Markiyan Dmytrasevych, who is suspected of attempting to seize state land together with Minister Mykola Solsky, left Ukraine on April 13 and has not returned since.

Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Markiyan Dmytrasevych left the territory of Ukraine on April 13 this year and has been abroad since then. Dmytrasevych, along with Minister Mykola Solsky, is suspected of seizing state land worth 291 million hryvnias and attempting to seize land worth another 190 million hryvnias. This was reported by UNN with reference to the HACC broadcast. 

Details 

"Dmytrasevych left the territory of Ukraine on April 13 this year and has been outside the country for some time now. We learned about this yesterday when we arrived to serve him with a notice of suspicion. Also, during the pre-trial investigation, it was established that Dmitrasevich is a person who has been working with Solsky for quite a long time, constantly following his instructions, and he is in fact an accomplice in this criminal proceeding," the prosecutor said.

The High Anti-Corruption Court has begun consideration of a motion to impose a preventive measure on Mykola Solsky, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, who is suspected of seizing state land.

On April 23, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine announced that the former head of the Verkhovna Rada's Agrarian Committee and current Minister was exposed for seizing state land worth UAH 291 million and attempting to seize land worth another UAH 190 million.
