Ukraine's U-19 national team will meet Northern Ireland, Norway and Italy in Group A of the 2024 European Championship final tournament, which will take place in Northern Ireland from July 15 to 28.

The draw for the final tournament of the 2024 European Championship among players under 19 has taken place. The youth national team of Ukraine (players not older than 2005) has learned its rivals, UNN reports with reference to the UAF.

It will be recalled that on March 26, the Ukrainian team effectively completed the fight in the elite round of the Euro 2024 (U-19) qualifiers with a 3-0 victory over Switzerland. Prior to that, Dmytro Mykhailenko's wards defeated Northern Macedonia (2: 0) and Latvia (3: 0). The Blue and Yellows won their group with the maximum score and won a ticket to the final tournament of the European Championship, which will take place on July 15-28 in Northern Ireland with the participation of eight national teams.

As a result of the draw, the Ukrainians are in Group A, where their rivals will be Northern Ireland, Norway and Italy. The top two teams from each quartet will advance to the semifinals, and the main trophy will be played on July 28 at Windsor Park in Belfast.

The match for third place is not foreseen, but the fifth place match will take place, as Europe will delegate five representatives to the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup, which will be held in Chile with the participation of 24 teams. So the four semifinalists will be joined by the winner of the match between the third teams of the groups. Like the semifinals, it is scheduled for July 25.
