Three drones hit an oil refinery in the Valuga region of Russia, damaging equipment and causing a fire.

Three drones hit an oil refinery in Russia's Kaluga region. The equipment of the enterprise was damaged, ASTRA reports, citing its sources, UNN writes. 

In the morning, the governor of the Kaluga region, Vladislav Shapsha, said that four drones were shot down in the region. 

"Last night in Dzerzhynsk district, air defense forces suppressed 4 UAVs, there were no casualties or damage to infrastructure. An operational group is working at the scene," Shapsha wrote. 

According to ASTRA, only one drone was actually shot down, and 3 hit the oil refining equipment of the Pervyi Zavod petrochemical plant in the village of Poltaniy Zavod. A fire broke out. The equipment was damaged. No one was injured. 

One of the explosions was caught on video.

On the night of March 13, the SBU attacked three oil refineries with drones at once - not only in Ryazan, but also in Kstovo (Nizhny Novgorod region) and Kirishi (Leningrad region).  

UAV strikes in the Russian regions in two days affected 12% of the oil refining capacity of the aggressor country. Starting on Tuesday, March 12, a wave of targeted strikes damaged three important oil refineries in Russia.
