russia is moving Black Sea Fleet infrastructure and ships to Novorossiysk amid large-scale losses near occupied Crimea, but cannot completely leave the peninsula without being seen as an escape.

Against the backdrop of large-scale losses of the Black Sea Fleet near the occupied Crimea, russia is moving ships to Novorossiysk. This was stated by a representative of the GUR Andriy Yusov during a telethon, UNN reports .

Details

According to him, the occupiers cannot leave Crimea, because it would be considered an escape, but they are gradually moving  the Black Sea Fleet infrastructure to Novorossiysk.

The redeployment to Novorossiysk continues, although they (russians - ed.) cannot completely leave the temporarily occupied Crimea without infrastructure, including naval forces. Otherwise, it would actually mean an escape. But the headquarters infrastructure and ships are being actively transferred to Novorossiysk

- Yusov said.

According to him, the last destroyed russian ships have led to the fact that the occupiers hardly ever put the fleet to sea.

After the destruction of missile boats, amphibious assault ships, and a corvette, we don't see them at sea. They are trying to change their tactics, to look for some new defense tools. But the Ukrainian Security and Defense Forces will not wait, they will continue to act

- the DIU representative summarized.
