The 39-year-old Black Widow star joined the 41-year-old One Tree Hill alum, the 44-year-old Ahsoka star and the 56-year-old Sixteen Candles actress at the annual glittering event held in Washington, D.C.
The dinner helps "support journalists who cover the president's activities, events and programs to educate the public about the value of the First Amendment and a free press, and provide scholarships to help the next generation of journalists," according to the event's website.
Johansson wore a tight-fitting white strapless dress with shiny silver trim, as well as a matching scarf draped around her neck. Her blonde tresses were parted in the middle and flowed over her shoulders in light curls.
Scarlett added a pair of small silver earrings to the dress, as well as an elegant bracelet on her right wrist.
The beauty painted her eyelashes with a layer of mascara, as well as light shadows around the eyes. Her lips wore a bright reddish-orange hue, which gave the look a vibrant color.
Johansson was joined by her husband, Colin Jost, who wore a classic black suit, a white classic shirt, and a black bow tie.
As a finishing touch, the SNL star also chose a pair of shiny black lace-up shoes.

Sophia Bush stunned in her strapless black dress that emphasized her trim figure and featured a series of bright gold jewelry on the front. Her dark hair was parted in the middle and easily fell over her shoulders in voluminous curls. The beauty preferred minimal accessories and added a pair of gold earrings that matched the color scheme of the outfit.
On the red carpet, Sofia flaunted her dress, and was joined by her partner Ashlyn Harris, with whom the actress is "in love.
Rosario Dawson wore an all-black satin suit that featured fringe details throughout the material. She also complemented this piece with a cropped black jacket that was left unbuttoned in the front. The star's dark hair fell around her neck, allowing her short bangs to gently fall over her forehead. Dawson added a pair of dangling earrings as well as a gold bracelet on her right wrist to accessorize her outfit. Rosario wore black ankle boots with heels to harmonize with the monochromatic color scheme.
Molly Ringwald was an eye-catcher, dressed in a bright yellow dress that was held together by a thick strap that wrapped around her left shoulder. The right side contained additional fabric that draped down to her elbow for a unique flare. The dress was made of a pleated material that descended into a short train in the back and also had a thigh-high slit, revealing a pair of shiny silver heels. Her short locks were parted to the side and fell in light waves, almost touching the tips of her shoulders.
Molly complemented her look with a pair of sparkling silver earrings, as well as a gold bracelet on her left wrist and a bright ring on her hand. She was carrying a gold clutch.
