Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that Russian terrorists shelled the center of Chernihiv, killing at least 11 people and wounding at least 22, and called on Ukraine's partners to provide air defense capabilities to protect Ukrainian lives.

After another Russian missile attack that killed 11 people in Chernihiv, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba called on Ukraine's partners to provide additional air defense equipment to protect Ukrainian lives, saying he would repeat this call during meetings with G7 allies in Italy this week, UNN reports .

Details

"Russian terrorists shelled the center of Chernihiv, killing at least 11 people and wounding at least 22. The number may still grow. These innocent people would not have been killed or wounded if Ukraine had sufficient air defense capabilities. Three days ago in the Middle East, we saw what reliable protection of human lives from missiles looks like," Kuleba wrote on social network X.

The Foreign Minister emphasized that "Ukraine's partners have the necessary means to help us save Ukrainian lives with the same level of efficiency.

We are grateful that Germany has already made the important decision to provide Ukraine with an additional Patriot battery. Building on Zelenskyy's recent contacts, I will urge other partners to follow suit during my meetings with G7 allies in Italy this week

- Kuleba said.
