Dnipro railway station reopens after being temporarily closed due to a massive Russian attack on Ukrzaliznytsia's civilian infrastructure.
The Dnipro station has reopened after a temporary shutdown due to a massive Russian attack on Ukrzaliznytsia's civilian infrastructure facilities. Currently, three trains are significantly delayed. This was reported on Friday by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia, UNN reports.
Ukrzaliznytsia is reportedly continuing to assess and repair the consequences of the morning's hostile attack on its infrastructure in Dnipro and the region.
Dnipro station has already resumed operations: passengers of the train #40 Zaporizhzhia - Solotvyno, which is currently awaiting permission to enter the station, will be able to board the train at Dnipro station
Ukrzaliznytsia said that the following trains are currently significantly delayed:
- No. 38 Kyiv - Zaporizhzhia;
- No. 733 Dnipro - Kyiv;
- No. 5/215 Chernivtsi - Zaporizhzhia (delay up to half an hour).
It is noted that for passengers who could not get on their flight because of the shelling, the railroad will find seats on other trains of the desired direction during the day: boarding is possible on tickets for the previous flight.
On the night of April 19, Russian troops massively attacked civilian infrastructure facilities of Ukrzaliznytsia in Dnipro and the region. There are injured among the railroad workers, information about the dead is being clarified.
