Russian troops intensified shelling of the border areas of Sumy region in Ukraine, conducting 60 attacks and over 300 explosions in one day, resulting in 4 civilians being injured.
Last week there were up to 20 attacks in Sumy region, but today the number of attacks has increased to 60. Border communities, especially Bilopillia, are experiencing an increase in the intensity of shelling. This was reported by the head of the Sumy RMA Volodymyr Artyukh during a telethon, UNN reports.
According to Artyukh, it is observed that the enemy's intensity of attacks on the border communities has increased compared to previous days. He says that the use of multiple launch rocket systems, UAVs on the border strip and systematic mortar and artillery attacks continue
"If a week ago there were up to 20 attacks, today this figure is 60, and explosions are more than 300. The intensity is increasing, and our border communities feel it, because we have four wounded in the last day: in Shostyn community and in Bilopillia, which is suffering the most," summarized the head of Sumy RMA.
