MHP starts spring sowing campaign.
MHP has started its spring sowing campaign. The company notes that it plans to sow all available areas in 12 regions of Ukraine. Compared to the previous year, MHP's portfolio has reduced the area under corn and sunflower and increased the area under soybeans and sugar beet. These changes were driven by market conditions.
Despite the war, the company has been successfully implementing precision farming and digitizing agribusiness.
"Precision agriculture is a component of successful resource use and regenerative production," says Sergiy Dobrohorsky, Deputy Chairman of the Board for Agribusiness at MHP, "We are one of the first companies to start implementing precision agriculture in Ukraine in 2014. Today, we perfectly operate all the elements of precision farming within the field and continue to work in this direction. We are developing the Digital Agro 360° project, which is a whole ecosystem of modern and progressive solutions that digitizes the technology of grain growing at the strategic and operational levels.
