Kyiv • UNN
In Kharkiv, a Russian missile strike resulted in 19 casualties, including 3 children, 13 of whom were hospitalized, and a 59-year-old man was killed.
As a result of the shelling in Kharkiv, the number of wounded is 19 people, 13 of whom were hospitalized. Unfortunately, a 59-year-old man died. The head of the Kharkiv RMA, Oleg Sinegubov, said this on the air of the telethon, UNN reports.
"The State Emergency Service units are also working at the site of the hits to eliminate the consequences, the accident, as it was residential infrastructure. It was a guided missile. This is a new type of munition that Kharkiv region has never seen before. We already understand that it covered a distance of about 70-80 km from the moment of launch to impact. So far, we have recorded 19 victims. We have hospitalized 13 people, including 3 children," said Syniehubov.
He noted that there were no seriously wounded, but unfortunately, a man of 59 years old died.
According to him, the youngest boy is only 3 months old, one girl is almost 2 years old, another girl is 9, and the oldest of them is a 13-year-old teenager. The children have moderate injuries and have been treated at the hospital and discharged.
"The women are mostly middle-aged and older - from 21 to 92. They suffered mild to moderate injuries. Five of them received medical aid on the spot without further hospitalization," added Syniehubov.
We are also analyzing the damage and conducting a survey of people. Everyone is offered resettlement.
The head of the RMA also spoke about the situation with electricity supply in the city.
"At night, there are practically no restrictions in the residential sector, but during the day we do not have enough electricity, not enough capacity to accept power from neighboring regions, etc., so we have to apply blackout schedules. We have two types of them: stabilization, so to speak, planned, and emergency. There is a restoration process and a debris removal process," he said.
