The Russian military allegedly shot down its own plane taking off from the Belbek airfield in occupied Crimea, with the pilot reportedly ejecting safely.

"An airplane was shot down over the territory of Crimea. Residents are posting videos of the falling plane on social media. The video also shows a parachute , apparently, the pilot managed to eject. Sirens are working in Sevastopol," Baza reports.
The Russian authorities of the city and the military of the Russian Federation have not yet commented on these reports.
