Since the beginning of the year, Ukraine has received $12 billion in aid from its partners, including $1.5 billion from the EU and $8 billion from the United States.

Yesterday, Ukraine received 1.5 billion euros from the EU and 8 billion dollars from the US for budget support. The total amount of external financing since the beginning of the year has reached $12 billion. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, UNN reports.

"Yesterday, Ukraine received 1.5 billion euros from the EU under the new Ukraine Facility instrument. We will also receive almost 8 billion dollars of budget support from the United States as part of the aid package. Since the beginning of the year, Ukraine has already received about 12 billion dollars of external financing to cover our budget deficit. We are grateful to our allies and partners for their support," - Shmyhal said.

Ukraine has received €1.5 billion from the EU under the Ukraine program . The funds will be used to finance the budget deficit. In total, by the end of the year, subject to fulfillment of obligations, the total amount of EU assistance will reach EUR 16 billion.
