The brand of dried chicken slices Chick&Go from MHP, known in Ukraine as RyabChick, won in the nomination "Best Meat/Chicken Product" at the prestigious World Food Innovation Awards 2024.
On March 25, the winners of one of the most prestigious awards in the food industry, the World Food Innovation Awards 2024, were announced at The International Food & Drink Event (IFE) in London, UNN reports.
The brand of dried chicken slices, which was created for Ukrainians under the brand RyabChick and adapted for European consumers under the name Chick&Go, won the Best Meat/Poultry Product category.
"Snacks are a category in which MHP confirms its mission to feed people and give them the opportunity to eat in any situation. This ready-to-eat product is our fastest connection with the consumer, who doesn't even need to heat food or set the table to have a snack. And it is our response to the growing popularity of finger food in the world, because we are developing the snack category, including meat, not only in Ukraine.
The victory of the Chick&Go brand, which is known in Ukraine as RyabChick, at one of the most prestigious awards in the food industry is proof that we are moving in the right direction. And it is also the result of the effective and well-coordinated work of the team, to which I am extremely grateful.
Knowing how our production is organized, what quality and safety principles we follow, and what marketing approaches we use, I am not surprised that the jury appreciated our snack brand. And this is only the beginning, as we have many ideas and ambitions to create new products and develop categories that will enable MHP to compete for consumer love with world-class companies," said Oleg Shmulyayev, MHP's Deputy Chairman of the Board for Marketing.
The nominees for the World Food Innovation Awards 2024 were participants from more than 80 companies that competed in 23 categories. All brands had to demonstrate how they are changing the future of food technology.
Given its innovative approach to production, careful selection of ingredients and creative approach to marketing, Chick&Go was highly appreciated by experts at the preliminary stage, as it was shortlisted in two categories: Best Snack Product and Best Meat/Poultry Product.
Chick&Go dried chicken slices are actively gaining consumers' love: they satisfy hunger and provide the body with protein. The main ingredient of the slices is the most dietary part of the chicken - the fillet, so they contain up to 81% protein. No deep frying is used in the production process; the slices are dried, not fried. They are an ideal choice for a quick snack at any time of the day, and are convenient to take with you to work, school, travel, training, and hiking.
