Natalia Gumenyuk, head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Operational Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, denied the accusations of not covering the consequences of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant tragedy, saying that this is an absolute lie, as more than 800 requests were processed within a week after the explosion in accordance with the relevant orders.

The head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, Natalia Gumenyuk, commented on the statement of journalists demanding her dismissal for obstructing the work of the media, noting that the allegations of failure to cover the consequences of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant tragedy are absolutely false.

First of all, the statement contains facts without any evidence. Absolutely no evidence at all. Second, there was no violation of Order 73 by the Center for Strategic Communications or the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces. All the activities that took place were carried out in full compliance with the orders of the headquarters and the relevant order, which provides for such a procedure. The coverage took place even in extremely difficult conditions.
