Yermak spoke about today's massive Russian shelling of Ukraine's energy infrastructure and the difficult situation in several regions of our country.

Andriy Yermak discussed with the Director of the Finnish Institute of International Affairs the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula and preparations for the first inaugural Global Peace Summit. The importance of involving the countries of the Global South was emphasized, taking into account the specifics of each of them.

According to the Head of the Presidential Office, the Peace Formula should help develop mechanisms to overcome the problems caused by wars. In addition, with the help of this platform, Ukraine unites the world as opposed to those aggressive states that seek to divide it.

Andriy Yermak and Mika Aaltola also exchanged views on the NATO anniversary summit in Washington, D.C., where Ukraine would like to be invited to start membership negotiations. The Head of the President's Office expressed confidence that such a decision, as well as the accession of Finland and Sweden to NATO, would strengthen the Alliance and the security of the whole of Europe.

The interlocutors agreed to maintain a regular dialogue and coordinated steps for further cooperation.
