According to the channel, the A-50 was flying over Sevastopol. It is noted that all information was passed on to the Ukrainian Defense Forces, and the photo was released with a delay.

At the end of February, the head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Ukrainian Defense Forces, Natalia Humeniuk, said that russia was preparing a new long-range radar detection aircraft to replace the downed A-50U.
According to her, the russians are trying to compensate for the loss of the plane and intelligence with more drones, but they realize that UAVs cannot fully replace the A-50 radars.
