British Defense Secretary Grant Shapps has canceled a trip to Odesa as part of his visit to Ukraine, which he had resigned from on March 7. According to The Sunday Times, Shapps refused to cancel his trip to Odesa because of the missile threat from the Russian Federation, UNN reports .

The newspaper noted that the defense minister interrupted the visit after British intelligence warned him that the Russians had learned of his travel plans.
Shapps visited Kyiv on March 7 and announced the withdrawal of 325 million pounds for the purchase of more than 10,000 drones for the Armed Forces.
