Electricity consumption is restricted in Kharkiv region and in Kryvyi Rih in Dnipropetrovs'k region. Yesterday, production from renewable energy sources was limited, and excess electricity was transferred to Poland. This was reported on Saturday by the Ministry of Energy, UNN writes.

Generation and consumption

Over the past day, due to network restrictions on the transmission system operator's lines, outage schedules were applied in Kharkiv region.

Today, the restrictions are applied in Kharkiv region and to the industry in Kryvyi Rih

- the Ministry of Energy reported.

In Kharkiv, as noted, hourly network restrictions are in effect. In Kharkiv region, 21.2 thousand households in 61 settlements remain without electricity.

In Dnipropetrovska oblast, Kryvyi Rih has network restrictions for industry.

Due to the sunny weather and, accordingly, the active generation of electricity by SPPs, the transmission system operator limited the production of electricity from renewable energy sources to a total of 8677 MWh. Surplus electricity was also transferred to Poland for several hours, the Ministry of Energy noted.

Ukraine's power system is said to be stable and balanced. For the current day, commercial imports and exports of electricity are forecasted.

Situation at ZNPP

"The water level in the cooling pond is 15.48 meters. This is enough to meet the needs of the plant," the ministry said.
