Property, land, and personnel: Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Head explains what powers the regional council will transfer to the administration
Kyiv • UNN
The Verkhovna Rada transferred all the powers of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council to the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration headed by Ivan Fedorov, allowing it to manage property, land, personnel and address urgent needs in the frontline region.
The head of Zaporizhzhya regional administration Ivan Fedorov, telling what powers the regional council will transfer to the administration, noted that it is about property, land and personnel, reports UNN.
"Two-thirds of the powers of the regional council, including budgetary powers, were transferred to the regional military administration at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. By today's decision, the Verkhovna Rada transferred the remaining competencies to the Zaporizhzhya regional military administration, including property, land and personnel," said Fedorov.
According to him, this finally makes it possible to build shelters and underground schools, repair hospitals and social facilities for people, and make personnel decisions.
"We have no right to stop any processes in the frontline region, but rather to solve problems as quickly as possible to meet the needs of the residents," he summarized.
