In Chernivtsi, street lights and other outdoor lighting will be turned off from midnight to 4 a.m. during a curfew starting April 15 to save money from the city budget due to Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy sector.
In Chernivtsi, streetlights and other street lighting will be turned off every night. The street will be pitch black from 24:00 to 04:00, during the curfew. This was reported on April 9 by the Chernivtsi City Council on Facebook, UNN reports.

The mayor's office decided that outdoor lighting would be turned off from April 15.
The decision was made in connection with the massive attacks on our energy sector and in order to save the city budget
The Chernivtsi municipal utility company Misksvitlo is drawing up a schedule of outages. It has not been announced how long the restriction will be in effect.
