The Superhuman Center has opened a specialized department for the restoration of hearing for Ukrainian soldiers who suffered acoustic trauma during the fighting.
From now on, the Superhumans Center will be restoring hearing to defenders. The super opportunity became available after the opening of a full-fledged specialized department. This was reported by the Lviv RMA, UNN reports.
Details
According to the Center, almost every second Ukrainian soldier loses partial or complete hearing as a result of combat operations, and the ability to hear is an important element of social adaptation and returning veterans to full civilian life.
In just a few days of the department's operation, 32 patients have already been examined at Superhumans. All the superheroes with acoustic trauma are working with a sign language teacher and a speech therapist from the NGO Vidchuvai.
