Kyiv • UNN
The United States remains Ukraine's most reliable strategic partner, with ongoing dialogue and diverse cooperation between the two countries on a variety of issues, including military assistance, the Peace Summit, and the upcoming NATO summit.
The relations between Kyiv and Washington remain a stable partnership. The United States remains our most reliable strategic partner. Ihor Zhovkva, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, said this during a telethon, according to a UNN correspondent.
Asked whether relations with Washington had not deteriorated and remained a stable partnership, Zhovkva replied: "Absolutely. There is an appropriate dialog from the presidents of the two countries, to the ministers of defense, to the chiefs of the general staff. The head of the OP Yermak is in constant contact with the US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan. Relevant meetings of congressmen here in Kyiv, their communication with their colleagues from the parliament continues.
He noted that Ukraine and the United States have very diverse cooperation.
"By the way, it concerns not only the issue of financing. This is not the only issue on the agenda of our relations. The U.S. position is important both in the issue of the Peace Summit and the NATO Summit in July. Therefore, we are in constant dialog on all these issues. The United States remains our most reliable strategic partner," Zhovkva said.
