Ukraine has submitted to the European Commission a government-approved plan for a 4-year, €50 billion EU support program, awaiting approval and full launch, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said during his visit to Brussels.

During the meeting in Brussels with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, he handed over the Plan for the Ukraine Facility approved by the Government of Ukraine. This is an important step for the implementation of reforms and financial stability on Ukraine's path to the EU. We look forward to the approval of the Plan and the full launch of the Ukraine Facility program, worth EUR 50 billion for 4 years
He also pointed out that the EU had transferred the first tranche of the program in the amount of EUR 4.5 billion. "We appreciate the unequivocal and comprehensive support of the EU!" the Prime Minister said.
