Kyiv • UNN
The Security Service of Ukraine neutralized a Russian FSB agent group in Kherson region, detaining a former MP and his accomplice who were adjusting missile and drone strikes in the region.
The SBU neutralized an FSB agent group in the right-bank Kherson region. As a result of the special operation, SBU exposed 4 members of the enemy group who were adjusting missile and drone strikes in the region. Two of them were detained red-handed while performing an enemy task. This was reported by the SBU press service, according to UNN.
Details
It is noted that the detainees were a former deputy of the Kherson district council and a hospital employee.
According to the investigation, the racists shelled a local hospital, a church, and the National Police building at their "direction." They were also preparing for new air attacks on the Kherson region,
In order to adjust the strikes, the perpetrators would walk the streets of the city under the guise of walking, where they would covertly record the locations of the Defense Forces. Another task of the Russian agents was to collect intelligence on the consequences of enemy "arrivals" in the regional center.
The traitorous ex-deputy "summarized" the information he had received and sent it to the resident (senior) agent of the agent group via messenger. It turned out to be his local acquaintance, who cooperated with the FSB during the occupation of the region. On the eve of the liberation of the regional center, he fled to Russia, where he continued to cooperate with the occupiers.
In the course of the investigation, the SBU also identified and documented the fourth member of the Russian agent, who is in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
Currently, all four Russian agents have been notified of suspicion.
The detained ex-deputy, whose cell phone and draft records with evidence of intelligence and subversive activities were seized, was suspected under Part 2 of Article 28 and Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He is in custody. The offender faces life imprisonment.
The actions of his accomplice are classified under Part 2 Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Two defendants, who are hiding on the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine and in Russia, were served suspicion notices in absentia under Part 2 of Art. 28 and Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
